Screens and sieves are used e.g., to sieving, straining, draining and separating materials:

Screens and sieves are made of wire grids and can be delivered with hooks and rubber edges. Since the screens are usually exposed to a high load, the wire grids and the rest of the construction must be dimensioned accordingly. The high load requires a product with equally high durability in the mesh and the joints made by the hooks and edges.

The hooks are used to make installation of the screen easier into a frame or machinery. Additionally, the hooks lock the wire mesh so it can be mounted in a machine and withstand the strain caused by the vibrations of the machine and impact from the materials to be filtered.
There are several different types of hooks, with directional bends in a variety of degrees and designs. If you desire a specific hook, we can often find a suitable solution.
